GBEI will focus on 5 critical levers to build the brain economy
Safeguard brain health by ensuring access to effective care for brain health conditions and promoting brain health across the life course
Foster brain skills for the next generation, current workers, and those in later life
Study brain capital by defining brain capital as an interdisciplinary field, developing robust measures, and expanding research and development to drive progress
Invest in brain capital by funding products, services, and systems that improve brain capital, using both traditional and innovative financial instruments
Mobilize for brain capital by forging a coordinated global movement that aligns stakeholders around a shared vision and roadmap to build brain capital.
GBEI Steering Committee: Coming soon
GBEI is in the process of developing a Steering Committee that will ensure interdisciplinary excellence, global legitimacy, and representation of the full brain-economy systems change constituency.
This committee will include leading industry leaders and scholars across neuroscience, economics, artificial intelligence, environmental health, education, labor, and finance.
This committee builds on the work of the Brain Economy Action Forum and its affiliated Pathfinder organizations to support the roadmap for building brain capital laid out in the World Economic Forum and McKinsey Health Institute Insight Report, The Human Advantage: Stronger Brains in the Age of AI.
